Ilaria Marelli, architect and designer, opens in 2004 her own office “Ilaria Marelli studio”. She works on product , interior and staging design and she also provides with trend and strategy consulting in design sector. Ilaria Marelli has designed products and collections for Cappellini, Cassina, Zanotta, Fiam, Coro, Bonaldo,Bosa ceramica, E&Y;Invicta, Coin, Variazioni, Lancia Y (merchandising) and uniques for international exhibitions. She works as product consulting for the American trademark Tivoli Audio. She plans staging for fashion and design events ;among them “Pitti Uomo e Bimbo” and she also looks after private and showrooms interiors, as for example Aquagirl shop in Tokyo Omotesando. The architect is interested in organising social activities concerning urban subjects: she has been promoter with Ezio Manzini e Luca Mortara of the first project on Cohousing in Italy and she has worked on the project management for the prize winning project of Milan province competition “ La Città di Città” , regarding the integration of business in areas with high multiethnic attendance. She has been teaching Industrial Design for six years at “Politecnico”in Milan and she cooperates with Poli.design on applied research. Since 2007 Ilaria Marelli is member of the First Italian Design Council of Ministry of Cultural heritage and she has received from Letizia Moratti the award MILANODONNA 2008 . The works by Ilaria Marelli are published on art book and on international magazines as: Domus, Abitare, Interni, Frame, Casa International China, Wall Paper, Surface, Elle Décor, Boe and A+D+M
