AZZURRA has developed in recent years a system that ensures its full range of floor, wall-hang and close coupled WCs to flush with 4.5 litres of water. With a view to continuous improvement, AZZURRA has recently patented a flushing system that allows people to save even more water. Thin WCs and Jubilaeum wall hung WCs collections flush with ridiculous quantity of water: up to 2,7 litres. A sustainable system that, thanks to the combined use of the WC and a mono flush cistern, ensure the total cleanliness of the WC in compliance with class 2 WC requirements, and according to the EN 997 regulation (European Standard for WC). This result has been achieved thanks to a technical adjustment in the modeling phase, without the help of electrical and/or mechanical devices, to avoid any energy consumption.

After the 2,7 litres flushing patent of Thin WCs and Jubilaeum wall-hung WCs, the Water saving project has now also been patented. Now, assuming that a family of 4 people flushes 20 times per day, the water savings with AZZURRA 2.7 litres certified system is 31.000 litres per year: about 4 and a half years of water guaranteed per person, corresponding to 70% less than the traditional 9 litres.
