Are stone-effect or colored shower trays safe against slipping?

Yes, Azzurra shower trays (such as the Pietraceramica line) feature a built-in anti-slip finish integrated into the texture of the material itself, ensuring maximum grip and safety without compromising aesthetics.
A flush-to-floor installation embeds the tray completely into the screed, eliminating any entry step (ideal for minimalist design and barrier-free access), whereas a surface-mounted installation places the tray on top of the tiles, creating a small step.
It means the shower tray can be cut and shaped to the millimeter during production or directly on-site. This solution is ideal for fitting into complex alcoves, around pillars, or against out-of-square walls (not perfectly at 90°).
