Azzurra Ceramica: a story of people, values, and projects.
After eight years, Azzurra Ceramica returns to the Cersaie in Bologna to share, alongside the angelettiruzza design studio its vision of the bathroom environment: a welcoming and gentle space where design and communication strategy embody an idea of domesticity that cares for the Planet. In the 240 square meters of white space, enveloped by a soft net that caresses, protects, and enhances this idea of a domestic space for everyone, seven rooms showcase the new products at the fair: the Aurea sanitary series with the patented foroGHOST® system, the Cleer furniture collection by Diego Grandi, the SoloDue® shower trays, and the Iride concept by Alessio Casciano. Central to the layout is the mirrored box dedicated to foroGHOST®, an advancement over the vortex drainage model. Eccentric compared to the white space, the volume is effectively the focal point of the exhibition design project, reflecting the brand’s values on its walls in an endless play of references that find a new balance in each encounter.

The search for a new harmony is the theme of the Design Talk promoted by Azzurra Ceramica at the Cafè della Stampa: on September 23rd at 1:00 PM, Giorgio Donà, partner and director of Stefano Boeri Interiors, Angelo Renna, landscape architect, and Marco Navarra, scientific director of Bosco Colto, will be the protagonists of the meeting “Nutrimenti. Water in design practices that care for fragile territories” moderated by Paola Carimati, independent journalist and co-founder of We Mediterranean: training to listen, broadening perspectives, and touching the environmental emergency firsthand means taking care of ourselves and the territories we have harmed. Yet another step towards building a truly circular vision of thought.
