At Milan Design Week 2024, Azzurra Ceramica amazed once again by participating in two important Fuorisalone events:
- Design Variation, curated by Mosca & Partners, in collaboration with Diego Grandi;
- Archiproducts Milano Showroom, with the ‘Aqua’ (Water) project curated by Studiopepe.
In these spaces, Azzurra Ceramica presented its two latest bathroom furniture collections, in an innovative design that combines aesthetic appeal and functionality with a revolutionary approach.
Aurea collection: sanitary ware with elegant, simple lines
The new Aurea sanitary ware collection, designed by Officina Azzurra, features solid and embracing shapes. The bathroom elements are achieved by cleverly alternating straight lines with circular arcs that create a timeless design, ideal for modern and contemporary interiors.
Floor-standing and wall-hung sanitary ware, countertop washbasins, a generous freestanding bathtub and a totemic column are available in Gloss White, Cotton and Charcoal finishes, enhancing the essence of the material.
The most revolutionary item in the Aurea collection is, however, the floor-standing toilet fitted with innovative technology: the vortex flushing system with a GHOST hole.
This system, designed in-house by Azzurra Ceramica, is intended for rimless toilets. It optimises the amount of water available by facilitating the vortex movement due to the hidden hole, thereby considerably reducing noise.
Cleer collection: a freestanding furniture collection featuring rounded shapes
A new perspective on the elements and materials typical of the urban landscape can be found when looking at the Cleer freestanding furniture element. Its name refers to the typically Milanese word for shutter or roller blind.
Vertical slats in coloured aluminium define rounded profiles, sliding horizontally and evoking the spontaneous opening movement for easy access to the storage compartment. As a result of this design, the Cleer shutter furniture element offers generous storage space and the horizontally sliding slats allow easy access to the storage compartment.
The Cleer furniture element, which comes in two sizes, 60 and 100 cm, is available in a White and Black finish for the structure and White, Black and Green for the aluminium shutter element.
